About my photo archive
- Welcome to my extensive
photo archive! Join me on a quick journey through my photographic
universe!
I have taken an interest in photos
and photography since my parents bought their first camera back
in the sixties - a 35 mm Konica which I often borrowed until
I got my first Olympus SLR in the early seventies.
Since then the analog cameras
have slowly faded away, being replaced by better and better digital
cameras from manufacturers like Canon, Sony and Pentax. With
more and better pixels. Still it happens that I reach for the
old SLR and load it with a Kodachrome 64 film - in case 8 millioner
pixels will not do!
Throughout the years I have taken
thousands and thousands of pictures. Today my photo archive contains
more than 20.000 photos covering topics like nature, aquatic
environment, angling, fisheries biology, commercial fishing,
oceanography, fisheries management, fish farming and much more.

In addition to pictures from
Denmark, my photo archive also contains thousands of pictures
from foreign countries. I have travelled the world since 1974
and visited some 55 countries with rod and camera in hand. Thus
my archive abounds with fishy photos from exotic destinations
around the world.
This of course goes for Scandinavia
- for Denmark, Norway and Sweden plus the Faroe Islands, Greenland
and Iceland, where I have spent a lot of time over the years.
Add to this a good number of photos from the US, Canada and Alaska
plus Kola and Sibiria - places that lure fishermen from all over
the world with salmon, trout and grandiose scenery.
Are you more into the hot and
humid tropics, there is something for you too. Browse through
pictures from the Carribean, South America, Africa and Australia,
where incredibly strong bonefish, tarpon, peacock bass, tigerfish
and barramundi will keep you entertained with both rod and camera.
Impressive fish in fantastic colors and surroundings that will
make you lose your breath.

About my prices
I have a simple price structure
that is easy for anybody to understand. If you need several pictures
for say a book or brochure, please contact me for a price quote
you cannot resist. - Let's talk if you need a lot of pictures!
